Château d’Ouchy

Nestled directly on Lake Geneva within a verdant park in the Ouchy district, Château d’Ouchy brings a romantic medieval silhouette to modern hospitality. Its origins trace back to a fortified tower built by Bishop Landri de Durnes around 1170. After centuries of transformations and decline, Jean-Jacques Mercier preserved the original tower and between 1889 and 1893 commissioned architect Francis Isoz to rebuild the site in a neo-Gothic style tailored to its role as a hotel. Today, the hotel is recognized as Swiss cultural heritage of regional importance.

Inside this “jewel box” of just 50 rooms - including charming junior suites and turreted suites - modern comforts sit gently beside fairytale ambiance. Its live-cooking restaurant, 57° Grill, along with a stylish cocktail bar, waterside terrace, discreet outdoor pool, and serene spa with sauna and sensory shower, make it a tranquil retreat rooted in history yet infused with contemporary charm.
