Saint Barth

St Barth - or St Barthélemy - is one of the most idyllic islands in the world. This small French territory (it was originally discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493 but the French settled the island in 1763) in the middle of the Caribbean sea is a volcanic wonderland filled with stunning beaches, coral reefs, lovely fishing villages, impressive coastal mountains and amazing hotels, restaurants and shopping opportunities. Arriving there is usually a breathtaking landing on its very short airstrip’s amidst island’s mountainous terrain. The island is always pretty warm and they say the have more than 300 days of sunshine per year - and it's probably true. From May till November is the rainy season, but usually the showers never last too long. The stays in St Barth are usually very peaceful and relaxed, mostly based on daily doses of good food, sun & vitamin sea - paradisiac beaches such as Saline, Colombier and Lorient are all unmissable. St Barths is also a world-renowned yachting paradise and has lots of nautical events along the year. And if you wanna party, there is plenty of hot spots too. Its colonial heritage guarantees fantastic bistros and all the savoir faire and joie de vivre could we expect for a week in paradise.
