A refined embodiment of elegance since the 18th century, Hôtel Angleterre has been thoughtfully renovated (in 2002) to harmonize tradition with contemporary serenity. Spread across four stylistically distinct pavilions - Angleterre, Lutetia, Florissant, and Longchamp - it encompasses 75 rooms and junior suites set amid a lush garden centered around a reception housed in a modern glass pavilion. The historic façades - Angleterre (visited by Lord Byron in 1816) and Lutetia (once home to the Lausanne Hotel Management School in 1893) - contrast with tranquil interiors. The Florissant pavilion evokes a cosy, English cottage feel, while Longchamp offers spacious, modern rooms - many with terraces overlooking garden and lake.
