In the Historic Center of Paraty, the Pousada Literária combines urban cultural traditions with sustainable farming experiences. The pousada occupies a fully restored colonial house, with a beautiful swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. Literaria has also a private villa with 2 bedrooms, located in a secluded beach integrated with the fascinating Mamanguá Fjord , accessible only by boat. Only 10 minutes away, guests can find the pousada´s organic farm. Dating back to the 17th century, this farm has been carefully restored and remodeled. Today it is a sustainable educational project with fully accessible trails, birdwatching activities, and a ‘farm-to-table’ restaurant.
